The Inspiration behind Maliks Honey

Authenticity

A summer spent in the Mountainous regions of the Mediterranean gave us the spontaneous chance to try raw honey straight from the hive and from that moment, Maliks honey was born.

The honey was delicious, unlike any other honey we have tried, it had notes, depth and substance!

Upon returning to the UK, our aim was to master this industry. We wanted to know every issue that we could fix and took every opportunity to try new honeys and source them from ethical beekeepers.

We started Maliks Honey with a vision to promote raw honey and improve the industry standards of adulterated honey.

Who is Malik?

Malik is the name of our firstborn son. Malik was a beautiful boy who had a calming nature, he rarely cried and just always seemed in control. Sadly he passed away 1 day and 18 hours after birth.

Naming something so sweet and healthy after him made sense to us and is a way for us to always remember him. Through this, we are also very conscious that we have to do our best for him.

  • Elizabeth (Queen bee)

    Elizabeth is the queen around here, she keeps everything ticking over and grows the colony. There is only one of her, truly unique and essential to the world as a whole.

  • David Goggings (The Worker)

    The worker bee can travel upto 5 miles from the hive in search of food! A strong colony of 60,000 bees can travel from the Earth to the moon… Everyday!

    The Hardest worker in the hive.

  • Dwayne Johnson (Bumblebee)

    A strong large worker who pollinates many different plants and is very social within the workforce. Bumblebees should not be able to fly due to their mass but they find a way.

    Truly a miracle bee.
